Eurorack Status Report 5 - Chord Control
With a lot of TTSH and Arp1601 business going on, I didn't record an awful lot of audio lately. Now that I'm waiting for my TTSH case and work on the Sequencer has come to a halt due to a slide-potentiometer shortage, I had some time to finish a few module builds and record some krauty warbles.
Central to Patch 0018 is the new Chord Organ Firmware for the Radio Music Module by Music Thing Modular. It's by far the simplest implementation of chords on eurorack that I know of. The chords sound very good when processed through slow filter sweeps.
There's three major additions in my rack: 4ms' RCD (rotating clock divider) is a module I had been eyeing for a few months already. The Fitzgreyve Polymoog Resonator is a faithful clone of the vintage classic - up to the 1458 op-amps.
Finally, I finished the XIIO by Doboz, a very handy touch controller / arpeggiator / sequencer module based on an Arduino Nano and the MPR121 capacitive touch sensor - in Patch 0018, I used it to play the changing melody part.
